Theodore is Upside Down

As a working mom with a passion for telling a story through product and marketing, it’s no surprise that one day I’d fulfill my childhood dream of publishing a children’s book. I’m excited to share that my first children’s book Theodore is Upside Down is now available worldwide on Amazon.

A year in the making, my children’s book was inspired by my son Theodore’s breech positioning during pregnancy; a position that many would consider ‘’upside down”. This 32 page, full-colour illustrated rhyming story is filled with outdoor fun and playful, upside down movement. To bring my story to life, I worked with experienced children’s book illustrator Sinem Kılıç Rabito from Milan, and finished the book off with Vancouver-based art director Victoria Hall known for her work with Canadian style-driven brands including Aritzia, Fable Home and Lululemon.

This book has been a labour of love and a personal project that’s close to heart; I am exceptionally excited to put my own expertise in social media and marketing behind a tangible product. Parents like me can use Theodore is Upside Down to discuss with their young children the values of perspective, uniqueness and acceptance.
